Temperature zero.
Deterministic output.

Every quarter, Temperature Zero subscribers also get a cold-brew concentrate made from that quarter's micro-lot. It steeps at 4°C for 22 hours, with no heat at any stage. Same input, same output, every bottle.

Use the beans for your espresso machine. Keep the bottle for the 4pm sync that should have been an email.

True temperature zero is −273.15°C. Our roaster said no.

The name means two things. A single shot of espresso is the cleanest expression of a bean. A one-shot prompt gives the model one good example and gets one good answer.

We started this because our days are spent in chat windows, and the only reliably good output was the coffee. So we built a coffee subscription that works the way good tools do. You make one clear input, you get a predictable output, and nothing gets in your way.

We don't sell blends, because a blend is an ensemble and ensembles are a hedge. We don't do twelve-step tasting rituals, because you're not being evaluated. And we don't use the word "artisanal", which hasn't meant anything since 2014.

Is there any AI in the coffee?

No. It's coffee. The AI is in the people drinking it.

Do you do decaf?

Not yet. We're reluctant to ship a model with the weights removed. If enough people ask, we'll put it on the roadmap.

Why single-origin only?

Blends average things out. Single-origin keeps the signal, so you can taste where the coffee came from instead of a house average.

Will it make me more productive?

We make no benchmark claims. Anecdotally, the pull requests have got better.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Email hello@singleshot.coffee and a human confirms it within two working days. There's no retention flow, no "talk to an agent", and no dark patterns. You keep receiving coffee until the end of the period you've paid for. Full details are in the terms.

Do you train on my data?

No. We store your email and your address so the coffee arrives. That's the whole dataset.
